64things.blog — Cédric Waldburger

I’m passionate about startups. Having founded my first company at age 14, I’ve built various tech companies, invested in ten and currently work on a productivity startup, a computer vision company and a crypto currency. To spend as much time as possible with my companies, which are spread across two continents, I gave up on having an apartment last year and have since lived out of a bag.

I write about various areas of my life and how I constantly strive for improvement. I travel constantly, own only 64 things (list) — all of which are black — and spend an average of 3.7 days in the same location.

Companies and investments

At the end of last year I became very eager to start my own company again. I started Sendtask, a productivity tool, and got involved in a more operational role with DFINITY, a crypto-currency with a team based in Zurich and Palo Alto; and Glimpse, a Computer Vision startup in the bar / restaurant industry based in Miami. I still take an active role as an investor and advisor at 8 other companies.

What You Should Do With A Task You Didn’t Get Done On Time

Articulate Planning is an art. And more often than not, we tend to overestimate what we can get done in a day. It might be that some things take a bit longer than planned or that urgent matters come up last minute. But it’s only natural that some tasks will remain undone at the end ...

Six Tips For Your Startup Board Meeting

I’ve sat in board meetings on both sides of the table – both as a founder and as an investor.
